

Jean Paul Edwards – Executive Director, Futures

Jean-Paul has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for almost 15 years. After stints buying print ads and working in the IT department he stumbled upon an article about Internet advertising that someone left on a photocopier in 1997. Somehow this led to him founding the agency’s online planning and buying offering, now the largest department in the company.
Since 2003 he has worked in a Futures role. The purpose of Futures in Media is to understand the evolving communication landscape and provide clients with valuable insight into the impact of new technology on media and marketing. This involves everything from the development of new communications models based on network effects to the management of various new forms of media and understanding how we can possibly measure the effect of these new channels and approaches.
Outside of work Jean-Paul is kept busy by two sons and a baby daughter.

Natalie Bell – Head of Digital Strategy

Natalie Bell has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for almost 4 years and has 11 years of media experience. Natalie heads up the Digital Strategy team, responsible for the quality of our digital thinking and for all areas of emerging channels, including our social media and mobile teams. Natalie is incredibly passionate about all areas of digital communications and how they can benefit client’s businesses, particularly in the case of social media opportunities. A previous life as a magazine Publisher, launching websites for magazine brands, means that she has experience in the technical and commercial side as well as the comms mechanics. Outside of all things digital, Natalie is a keen scuba diver – who once had a pair of fins ruined after a nasty scrape with a rather angry Trigger fish!

Mark Halliday – Mobile Director

Mark joined Manning Gottlieb OMD in December 2007, working in Communications Planning before joining the Digital Strategy team and then specialising in Mobile.
Everyone knows where Mark sits in the office because of the constant beeping from his iPad, iPhone and Android phone! Mark is a member of the IAB Mobile Council and he continuously updates the agency on developments in mobile technology.
Outside of work, Mark is an avid fan of the cinema, theatre and comedy… by his own admission; he’s rubbish at golf but loves playing it.

Paddy Adams – Strategy Director

Paddy is a Strategy Director at Manning Gottlieb OMD. It’s his second stint at the agency, having left in 2004 and rejoined last year, and so far four of his 12 years in the industry have been spent here (the other eight years having been split pretty evenly between ad agencies and media agencies).
Paddy works on all of the agency’s government clients, as well as Waitrose and lastminute.com. He is also involved in developing the agency’s planning product, with a particular focus on how a brand’s behaviour affects its success.
When he’s not at work, Paddy spends too much money on wine and shoes, and too much time thinking about typography and why Aberdeen aren’t the force they were in the 80s.

Stephen Stokes has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for 2 ½ years, having previously worked at OMD UK for the same amount of time. In total he has almost 20 years experience working in media agencies. Stephen works in the Strategy team working on retail clients including Starbucks, Renault and French Connection.
Stephen is passionate about exploring new thinking and developments in media particularly digital, as well as the wider domains of communications, marketing and brands.
Stephen retreats every evening and weekend to family life in rural Buckinghamshire, where his Springer Spaniel always beats his two girls to the door to greet him home

Kat Bozicevich has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for nearly 3 of her 7 years in media. She sits within the Social Change and Wellbeing team and works on clients including the COI and Virgin Holidays.
Kat managed to sneak her way into Cannes last year thanks to the Guardian Young Lions competition, and is now very keen to produce creative, effective, award winning work for the sole reason of getting back there.

Her interest in media, advertising, and communications originally stems from a fascination that developed from a young-ish age, with guerrilla marketing.
Claire sit’s within invENTS (the agency’s specialist Entertainment division) as part of the PlayStation team.
Outside media Claire enjoys painting, cooking Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals, and listening to Modest Mouse music.

David Paul has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for just 6 months. An anomaly in a media agency coming from an integrated creative background before specialising over the last 5 years in leveraging sponsorship platforms for brands such as Vodafone, Carlsberg, Grey Goose and Bacardi.
David (known as DP) is Head of Fuse at Manning Gottlieb OMD who specialise in sponsorship & consumer experience strategy, acquisition and activation.
DP has a passionate belief that how brands behave is more important than what they say and entertaining consumers with brand activity is often infinitely more effective than standard brand communications.
DP has a ‘do not say no’ attitude and this continues through to his personal life, regularly competing in marathons, triathlons and spending any spare time surfing in our Atlantic coastal waters.

Lewis Shaw has been with Manning Gottlieb OMD for four years and has eight years of experience working in Investment. Lewis heads up the Brand Momentum team in the Investment Department, responsible for all of the Virgin clients as well as lastminute.com, Mitsubishi and Age UK.
Outside of work Lewis is a racing driver wannabe and competes in various races around the country, although he knows he isn’t up to scratch with his F1 namesake and should really stick to media.
